The Scalloway Fire Festival where the procession goes from the Scalloway Legion round to the Boating Club for the burning.

Up-Helly-Aa Mass Meeting

This was the final Mass Meeting with all of the guizers. The band takes part so all of the songs for the night can be practiced.

Up-Helly-Aa Morning Parade

The morning parade with the Jarl and his Squad from the Lerwick Legion in over to the Market Cross. From the Cross we then march on to the Esplanade where the Jarl poses for photos with the galley.

Junior Up-Helly-Aa Procession

This is the Junior Up-Helly-Aa procession from the Hillhead to the burning site.

Up-Helly-Aa Procession

This is the senior Up-Helly-Aa procession, typically featuring over 900 guizers. The band starts off outside the Town Hall and marches along the Hillhead, playing this years 'ranks tune'. The procession then moves on from the Hillhead to King Harald Street park for the galley burning.

Nesting and Girlsta Up-Helly-Aa

This is the Nesting and Girlsta Up-Helly-Aa that takes place in Nesting.

Northmavine Up-Helly-Aa

This is the Northmavine Up-Helly-Aa that takes place in Hillswick towards Urafirth.

Bressay Up-Helly-Aa

This is the Bressay Up-Helly-Aa.

South Mainland Up-Helly-Aa

This is the South Mainland Up-Helly-Aa, which took place in Spiggie this year.

Delting Up-Helly-Aa

This is the final Up-Helly-Aa of the year in Brae.

Lifeboat Open Day

We played in the morning of the Lerwick Lifeboat open day. In total, over £8000 was raised during the day for the RNLI.

Big Band Ball

This was an event at sound hall featuring music from the Big Band era, in aid of Alzheimer Scotland.

Screenplay Parade

The Screenplay Parade took place again this year from the Market Cross to the Mareel, and celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Screenplay festival.

Battle of Britain Parade

A service at the War Memorial, outside the Town Hall to mark the anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

Remebrance Day Service

A service takes place at the War Memorial outside the Town Hall to mark Remembrance Day. The Pipe Band then march from the Town Hall over the St Columba's Church.

Christmas Lights Parade

A parade with Santa to mark the turning on of the Christmas lights on Commercial Street arranged by Living Lerwick.

South Nesting Carols

This was the first concert of our carolling season in the South Nesting Hall.

This was a carol evening in the Walls Hall.

Lerwick Brass Band Carol Concert

This was the Brass Band's annual carol concert, which took place in St Columba's church. Over £800 was raised for the Shetland branch of Alzheimers Scotland.
