Screenplay Festival March

To mark the beginning of the 10th Screenplay Festival, a film festival held in Shetland celebrating film, we marched from the Market Cross to the Mareel. Along with the band there was the Junior Jarl's Squad, and quite a few volunteers in fancy dress, including one as Godzilla.

It was a lovely summer's day for the march, with sunshine warming us for the whole route. We played a selection of marches along the route including 'First Parade' and 'Erimus'. Once we arrived at the Mareel, we played a selection of film music including 'Bare Necessities' and 'James Bond Theme'.

Here's hoping that next year's march is as good again.
